Synopsis
Inspired by a true story, NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT, tells the story of a Black mother that is forced to take an extraordinary action in order to ensure the safety of her teenage son.
Writer/Director
Ngozi Onwurah is an award winning writer and director. She also holds the distinction of being the first Black woman to have a feature film distributed in theaters in the United Kingdom. Neighborhood Alert will mark the return of her cinematic voice.
Creative Team & Cast
The award winning team of collaborators, assembled to particpate onscreen and behind the scenes of this project, have decades of experience working in film and television. Many have created work that is recognized internationally for its artistry and impact within the worlds of art, television, and cinema.
